My interest in visual storytelling began early. My dad served in the Navy and made stop-motion films while out to sea, and when I was seven, he showed me how to record my toys on a camcorder and edit with two VHS players. That sparked a lifelong love for shaping stories through moving images. My mom, a photojournalist, taught me how light, timing, and perspective shape the way a story is felt. From that point on, I knew I wanted to be a filmmaker.
Growing up in Newport News, Virginia, I spent countless hours experimenting with cameras, lighting, and editing techniques. I went on to study at Full Sail University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Film and committed fully to the craft. After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles and spent over a decade with The Walt Disney Company, contributing to projects that reached audiences around the world.
Every frame I create today reflects that same dedication, creativity, and belief in the magic of cinema that first captured my imagination.
